Victoria "Tory" Walsh,

Tory is warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental in her approach. Tory believes that each individual entering into therapy brings with them their own strengths and abilities which will be used and built upon throughout treatment. Tory (she/her) is completing her Master’s in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She received her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Waterloo and has been working with neurodiverse individuals for 8 years in a variety of settings which include schools, treatment centres, and community agencies.
Tory has experience working with children, youth, families, and the elderly population, with a wide range of presenting issues, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Dementia and Alzheimer's, as well as anxiety, and depression.
Tory utilizes a variety of creative and evidence-based approaches including Gestalt therapy, person-centred therapy, CBT, psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness-based therapies. She utilizes sensory exploration, grounding and mindfulness, as well as emotional regulation during her sessions, and approaches therapy from a trauma-informed lens.
